The human relations conventional disrupted by the … – The Echoes

Before, human relationships, traditional, consisted in the ability of individuals to confer with them on subjects of more or less serious, in everyday life and in all circumstances : – to exchange on the terms and conditions of work with colleagues in the office, on the weather with a neighbor or on the last episode of his favorite series, with a member of the family…

The Web has nothing “discovered” per se. At least, not to build links between humans. What the Internet is upset, it is the range of these relations : yesterday we were talking with their relatives, families or friends close to home. Today, one can enter into contact and interact with the world in a matter of seconds. What has changed, so this is the medium, the medium, the tool through which the connection between these people will make : it’s happening now around an app or a social network.

Difficult to contradict, but it is equally difficult to accept : we have become techno-dependent. Who remembers the last time he joined an unknown destination without a GPS ? Can we still go without her phone ? A study has shown that current generations have more difficulties to switch from Facebook and Twitter than to be deprived of eating, smoking or making love . There are even clinics that specialize in the care of people with a addiction to technology, and there are more articles that mention the new methods of “disconnecting”.

Transformation of social relations

The technology helps, serves, supports acts human relationships. No, the technology does not create exchanges, it transforms them. Up here, to take her children’s clothes become too small, we had to wait for the garage sale the annual city, town or village. Today ? You can place an ad on sites resale in a few clicks. Easy, practical, useful. This does not prevent the flea markets to continue to flourish in parallel.

there is now an app for everything. There are social networks not to go jogging alone, of the online communities to go hunting for Pokémon in a group, you can choose the “coworkers” and his place of work , even for a few hours… What customers are looking for now are other people who share the same centres of interest around events like them. And this has become accessible to all.

The examples of social relations became possible thanks to the new technologies are too many to count. Do you remember the first “Apéros Facebook” : hundreds, sometimes thousands of internet users without other things in common as geographic proximity and the belonging to a same social network. A new phenomenon, its scale, made possible thanks to social networks and new technologies. Nevertheless, there is nothing revolutionary in its principle : most were simply young people come to chat over a drink and meet elsewhere than between the lines of codes of a social network.

generations technology

They have evolved with the technological tools and new uses that have arisen. Generation Y was born with a keyboard in the hands, the generation Z may not separate from his smartphone. In addition to the explosion of geographic borders, new technologies have created a culture of immediacy : we don’t want to wait for a response to a text message or an email : we want to know in the minute. Why ? Because you can find everything, everywhere, all the time, in (almost) all circumstances.

Another trend that emerged with the new technologies : the opportunity to exercise and share his passions throughout the world with the help of dedicated sites. Take for example, a young woman who is on a business trip to Dallas, having been riding and who just wishes to participate in an event dedicated, on-site, the time of the evening.

The research and registration is simple via these sites. It is even possible to manage its participation to an event corresponding to it directly from an application. Simple and effective when it is located thousands of miles away and that you do not know anyone on the spot.

We may also quote the ability to ask for help, support or advice in a few clicks. The forums exist for years on the Internet, the social networks have replaced : pages deals and discounts, pages dedicated to job search, those to sell clothes for children… All this has been made possible through the Internet and mobile media (smartphones, computers, tablets, etc).

“Generation now”

We often hear that there would be fewer mass rallies, would this be the fault of the social networks and new technologies in general ? The concerts were always full, movie theatres, beats attendance records and there has never been so many festivals. The same goes for sports stadiums. It even happens that an event lambda has exceptional enthusiasm on the social networks, and vice versa. Everything is going faster.

of course, some will regret that when concerts or other mass events there are more phones raised that arm in the air to enjoy the moment. But that’s part of the evolution of these social relationships : people feel the need to share everything, to capture the present moment : it is the “Generation Now”.

But these virtual relationships do not come at the expense of involvement in the real world, a user can, of course, pay a visit to his neighbors or participate in local activities, in the same way that the “not connected”. The time where the new technologies were seen as a threat that could potentially drive a user in a “spiral of isolation” is gone, it is time to see them as a way of opening up to the world and to find more quickly the activities IRL (In Real Life).

How the human relations treaty have been … – The Echoes

Before, human relationships, traditional, consisted in the ability of individuals to confer with them on subjects of more or less serious, in everyday life and in all circumstances : – to exchange on the terms and conditions of work with colleagues in the office, on the weather with a neighbor or on the last episode of his favorite series, with a family member, etc

In France, as elsewhere, in a social environment that is particularly tense, and the technologies that accompany our daily lives contribute to the link between the people ?

The Web : a revolutionary tool ?

No, the Web has nothing “discovered” per se. At least, not to build links between humans. What the Internet is upset, it is the range of these relations : yesterday we were talking with their relatives, families or friends close to home. New technologies : the jurisdiction breton – Journal Paysan Breton

The digital competence and technology is well established in Britain. It asks to develop in the agricultural sector, to facilitate the daily work of the producers.

If the Brittany is the second French division in the area of Technologies of information and communication technology (ICT), agriculture must benefit. It is the role of Agretic, regional development programme led by Bretagne développement innovation and is funded by the Brittany region, which facilitates the exchanges between the sectors of digital, and agricultural. Its platform Space had two other projects relating to the security of pastoralists and their means of production, offered by firms in brittany.

out of stock

Over the bad surprise of the silo empty on the eve of the weekend and the stress of to call her provider of food into a disaster… Until now, to manage the stock, it was necessary to climb to the top of the silo with a measuring laser, work by resonance by tapping on it or use plummets to tare every two years. The company Ijinus, which means “innovation” in breton, located in Mellac (29), and specialized in metrology – measurement of levels, is interested in agricultural production and proposes a concept of wireless sensor ask at the top of the silo. Using ultrasound, a probe that is self-sufficient for three years made the stock inventory in real time, with an accuracy of 95 %.

In the presence of multiple silos, each cell is equipped with a sensor and communicates the data via radio to the main equipment. This investment may also be of interest to the suppliers of food, ” with a potential gain of 1 €/t of feed by optimizing the logistics “, a figure Patrick Grange, a director of the company. The collected data by 3G, can be integrated into the collaborative project Domopig, carried by the company Kerhis. This project aims to collect all information within a single database, and to design a mobile interface is unique to the control, the collection and transmission of these data.

Monitor the remote sites

In another registry, to facilitate the monitoring of remote sites or nomadic, against theft, or to allow a video surveillance despite the remoteness of the ADSL lines, Tekxia, located in Saint-Malo (35), suggests a surveillance kit of 4 cameras and a hub which centers the information, all running on solar power with a very easy setting-up.

Computer – Of new specialists in the new technologies – The Express of Madagascar

Madagascar opens to the technological advances. Thus, a huge scope of development open. In response to this phenomenon, the country has need of qualified technicians.

The malagasy population lives, in the last few years, to the era of high-speed. Which has led to the explosion of corporate computer services and software development as well as the activities of call center and Business Process Outsourcing. In this sense, new specialists and new technology are coming out of their pens.
In a ceremony worthy of the name, 75 students of the IT University (ITU) have recently obtained their degrees in computer science Friday, to Antaninarenina. Nineteen of them have obtained the qualification of Master MBDS, more precisely Mobiquité, Database, and integrations of Systems, in partnership with the University of Nice, Sophia Antipolis (France). This Master’s degree aims to train computer specialists, so they mastered the development of applications for end-to-end, that is to say, the database on the phone. And this, in environments of mobility and architecture, wireless, with prototyping of projects in all sectors supported by technology vendors.
” The IT University we offer a curriculum that serious. In addition, it has educational facilities such as free high-speed unlimited and it puts at the disposal of students of the laptop. And it is these benefits that allow me to face the professional world, ” explains a student of the private school specialized in computer training courses.
in Addition to the quality, the reputation of the institute is done through the infrastructure put at the disposal of the students. “The school is permanently connected to a fibre-optic network. In addition, our students benefit from the best technologies existing on the market “, specifies one of the leaders of the IT University. The establishment multiplies, moreover, the partnerships with the global giants of the computer such as Microsoft or Oracle.
for example, Microsoft has partnered with this institution of higher education to open the first IT Academy in Madagascar. The students at the ITU can therefore familiarize themselves with the tools of the avant-garde of the software giant. This allows them to acquire a high level of competence in computer science. It is a springboard to prepare students for the demands of their future professional life, to have a CV strong and rewarding.

Olivier Robinson, rector of l’IT University.

Olivier Robinson,
vice-chancellor of the IT University.

A great asset
IT University is also an ” Oracle Gold Partner “. “This status allows the IT University, including access to the e-learning content library Oracle University, the training dedicated to the partners thanks to the training curriculum guided by the Competency Center, the intensive training Enablement 2.0.
The IT University will also have resources that foster the migration to Oracle, ” says our interlocutor.
This is a plus for the students from the institute, in order to get a contract with companies based in Madagascar or elsewhere. Also, the majority of new graduates have already entered into a contract with some companies as early as the end of their internships.
The output of these ” specialists in new technologies, is timely in a context of madagascar, which requires skilled technicians to cope with the explosion of the market for it services and business process outsourcing.
” The number of technicians trained each year in the large schools
can’t meet the demand. In terms of qualification, the companies are especially in need of senior technicians. They want to human resources immediately available with the required skills, that are directly operational, without the need for additional investment, stable (non-gregarious), mastering the latest technologies, new tools, new languages, new versions of the product, ” said a University professor during the forum on the technology skills of information and communication technology (ICT) in November 2011.
The opening of the IT University is a response to that requirement of the companies. To believe the explanation given by the rector, Dr Olivier Robinson, ” the objective of the ITU is to train managers prepared for the jobs developed by the new technologies of information and communication. The training is supplemented by instruction in the tertiary on professional life. The opening of the ITU, it contributes enormously to the training of qualified technicians and operational “.

News – Twitter is about to be sold

In failure of growth, the social network Twitter, which has never posted a single benefit, would be on the verge of being sold after having sought, without success, a viable economic model.
The group is in discussions with various technology companies, including Google (Alphabet) and Salesforce.com has reported, on Friday, the string of information financial CNBC. Microsoft and Verizon are also on the ranks.
A transaction could be announced by the end of the year. In Exchange, the action Twitter has jumped nearly 20% on Friday.
The social network examines, for the last several weeks, different options to boost the growth down. In addition to its sale, are also on the table for job cuts, asset sales as the advertising network MoPub, or even application sharing short videos, Vine.
Twitter had already reduced last year, its workforce by 8%, but the recovery is still expected, despite the return to the controls in 2015, founder Jack Dorsey.
in The second quarter, growth remained sluggish with a stagnation of the number of users to 313 million, and a new net loss of $ 107 million.
in Addition to the data, the offensive’s recent Twitter into the live broadcast, including sports, could make it interesting for many groups in technology and media in quest for growth, according to research firm BTIG.
In this context, Disney and NewsCorp (Murdoch) would be of potential acquirers.
An acquisition by Google should bring about the reluctance of antitrust authorities who oppose their veto, according to BTIG, while Salesforce.com should break his piggy bank since it weighs only 48 billion dollars in the market on Friday, compared to 15 billion for Twitter.
Unlike other social networks (Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram, Linkedin), Twitter has never really found its economic model, with challenges to retain its users.

The rice production national are far from covering the national needs in rice due to urbanization, demographic growth and the insufficiency of the rainfall that make the balance between needs and production is quite fragile. Hence the need to improve the productivity of the various rice-based farming systems, according to Dr. Kofi Bimpong, on behalf of the director of the regional station of the Sahel of Africa Rice, Dr. Kabirou Ndiaye. Mr. Bimpong was speaking at the opening of a workshop of 15 days on the integrated management of rice farming, organized by the Africa Rice, Ngallèle.

The regional Director of rural development, Sada Ly, focussed on the urgency for african countries, to reverse the trend by improving, significantly, the rice production and considering the export of rice of best quality to other countries.

According to Sada Ly, Senegal is going to win the battle of the rice. “The rice has become a commodity of strategic and the primary grain consumed in Senegal “, has he recalled, indicating that Senegal and other african countries no longer want to import from asian countries, large quantities of rice. “We need to work in synergy to boost rice production in Africa and export rice to Asia, especially as our asian partners, because of the disastrous consequences of climate change are increasingly facing enormous difficulties to enhance thousands of acres. They have problems to produce the amount of rice they need for their consumption, ” said Sada Ly.

He added that the authorities in senegal have understood this painful situation by launching the national Program of self-sufficiency in rice (Pnar), the national Programme for the acceleration of the pace of agriculture (Pracas) and other agricultural development projects, large-scale. Sada Ly congratulated the scientists of Africa Rice to the consistent efforts and commendable that they are deploying in order to train many senior executives in africa to the modern techniques of development and integrated management of rice cultivation. For 15 days, the participants, supervised by Dr. Karim Traoré, and the research assistant Mansor Diop will study the morphology, the different phases of the growth of the rice and the vegetative development of the plant.

during this session of training of trainers, organized by AfricaRice, with the support of the african development Bank (Afdb), the participants will study the technical routes, the work of preparing and fertilizing the soil, different techniques for salinity control sowing the seeds, implantation of the culture, maintenance, processing and plant protection of the plant.

According to Karim Traoré, a researcher at AfricaRice, the participants will be built on the different techniques of water management, irrigation of plots of rice, the production and certification of seed quality, on the phases of the harvest, in particular on the work of packaging, which mainly focused on the techniques of threshing, winnowing and drying paddy at edge-field.

in the opinion Of Mr Traoré, the first agricultural input remains the seed. “With a very good seed producers will be able to, for sure, to record, at the end of the crop, very good yields,” he said.

Dr. Abdou Mbodj of the Saed and Dr. Biram Ndiaye of Isra have highlighted the importance of this international workshop focuses on the integrated management of rice and that will enable participants to assist their respective countries to contribute to the self sufficiency in rice in Africa. They stressed the need for sustained partnership between the Saed and AfricaRice, Isra, who have always worked in synergy to develop the rice production in the delta and the Senegal river valley and in the countries of the sub-region.

SNB: Thomas Jordan, for adapting the system to new technologies

Geneva (awp) – The swiss national Bank (SNB) is following closely the technological developments that are radically changing the infrastructure of financial markets, but notes that the primary functions of the financial industry remain largely unchanged. Investment financing, investment of assets, custody of securities and execution of payments are still at the heart of the remit of the financial intermediaries, has listed the chairman, Thomas Jordan, in the text of his speech to the conference, Sibos, 2016 in Geneva.

The innovations concern mainly the way in which these services are offered to the customer. Mr. Jordan notes in this regard that if the scanning of the traffic of payments has allowed them to make trade without cash that’s less expensive, the optimization potential has not yet been exhausted, including in international payments.

The boss of the guarantor of the monetary stability, the swiss stressed that after years of centralisation, which have led to the creation of the system of centralized payment transactions via Swiss Interbank Clearing (SIC), the new registers distributed (the”distributed ledger”) or the technology called the “blockchain” would result in cost savings by eliminating the use of intermediaries.

These new modes of exchange, however, must still make their evidence in relation to infrastructure conventional already very competitive.

If the SNB is closely following these developments, in order to ensure the safety and the efficiency of the SIC system, it recalls that its operations remain within the remit of SIX Interbank Clearing. The last iteration of the SIC, presented in April, “has a computer architecture which makes the maintenance and further development of innovative services that are more flexible and less expensive than in the past,” says Mr. Jordan.

This flexibility illustrates, according to the central banker the hankering for a reduction of barriers to entry on the market of the developers of technologies in the financial (fintech), for which the supervisory Authority of financial markets (FINMA) wishes the creation of a new authorization.

The analysis of children’s behavior in the face of the new … – Actu MeilleurMobile

child playing with tablet

what is it that attract the most children ? Television, tablet or smartphone ? And how are the interactive tools and high-tech products can help in the education of 6-14 years ?

A recent study conducted by Médiametrie (audience measurement of all media, the internet, satellite television, cinema, etc) shows that 57 % of children of 6-14 years of age prefer the tablet, compared to 46 % among 15 years and older, 20 % like the screen of the smartphone, compared with 10% of the rest of the population and they are 3 times more likely (17 % vs. 6 %) to be in love with the screen of tablets. The figure is roughly the same for the use of tv in everyday life, 96 % for the 6-14-year-olds compared to 95 % in the over 15 years. By contrast, adolescents and adults who use the computers fixed and portable (respectively 12 % and 21 %) compared to children (9 % and 15 %). This study shows therefore that children are rather trendy on the tablet and the smartphone, and the tv continues to have an influence on them.

Have between 6 to 14 years of age in 2016, it is to be born at a time when Google, Facebook, YouTube and other social media take the reins of the hearing, and where platforms such as blogs or the free encyclopedia such as Wikipedia is increasingly consulted for information. These children are the new owners of the media and the actors of the NICTS should think of them. In practice, what the children like, these are handy terminals that allow them to have fun and share fun things with their friends. For parents and education managers, it is especially the development of educational tools and innovative information technology equipment that will enhance the supervision of children. Tracking software of educational, scientific games, object connected to the surveillance, such are gadgets expected on the part of the developers.

What does he invent to help children better enjoy the new technology ?

New technologies: the elders of the city of Sierre not convinced – Le Nouvelliste

Director of CMS-Sierre, Dominique Germann does not hide his interest in new technologies. Last year, CMS piloted a new system of sensors to prevent accidents. “The idea was to place multiple sensors in the home of a senior to analyze his regular travel for several days to be able to detect all the movements of suspects and, where appropriate, prevent the nursing staff. “

The sensors have been placed in each room, but also under the mattress and in front of the door of the fridge. Between 6 and 8 units on average per housing unit. They allow to monitor their activities and reduce the time between an accident – a fall or a malaise, for example – and the triggering of the alarm. After weeks of testing, the results fall. Disappointing.

According to Larry Ellison, the new technologies cloud Oracle has … – Developpez.com

there are a few days of this, Oracle has organized an event baptis Oracle Open World. As keynote speaker, participants had the right to the speech of Larry Ellison, the co-founder and technical director dOracle.

During his keynote speech, Ellison has presented the new version of the database dOracle optimizes for the cloud : Oracle Database 12c R2. In this new version, several amliorations have been made to the level of performance, drivers for the programming languages and frameworks, but also at the level of the support for the analytical processing of large databases. And as important point in relation to the nouveauts of this database, we have an increase in the number of pluggable databases (several databases hberges in a database unique) and the possibility to carry out migration of these pluggable databases in line between the servers, the centres of data and cloud-dOracle.

Pass the chalk of the characteristics of this new database, Ellison has marked a point honours on the mrites of its database and cloud platform dOracle sharing with the assistance of the results of comparative tests effectus on its cloud service and dAmazon (AWS).

According to the results provided by Ellison, the database as a service dOracle (DBaas) sexcute up to 100 times faster for analytical workloads, 35 times faster for online transaction processing and more than 1000 times faster for mixed workloads compared Amazon DBaaS.

After having demonstrated that the database for the cloud-dOracle is more powerful than the one dAmazon, Ellison has contested the compliance dAWS excutant the database dOracle.

On that second point, Ellison has indicated that the database dOracle executed on the cloud platform dOracle is 24 times faster for the analytical processing on AWS. And as for the transactional processing, Ellison has demonstrated that its database was 8 times faster on its cloud-based platform that on the one dAmazon.

continuing its dmonstrations, the co-founder dOracle was tense on the fact that the databases dAmazon are more firm than the mainframes dIBM. He explains this by the fact Amazon Aurora (designed for transactional processing (oltp), Amazon Redshift (conus for the analytical processing), and Amazon DynamoDB (the service database NoSQL dAmazon) only work on the cloud services dAmazon (AWS). Once you’re on these platforms, you cannot migrate your databases to another service provider’s cloud, has held control how Ellison. Regardless of what happens, you are forced dy stay for your happiness, but especially for your misfortune.

For all these reasons and much more, Ellison did not lack daffirmer that Amazon Web services is simply not optimis to the database dOracle . He continued by saying : I’m going to go even further. Amazon Web services is not optimis to its own databases, as you can see. It does samliore not. It sempire. Amazon, a pioneer in the infrastructure as a service, provided always of the infrastructure-as-a-service first gnration .

And to insert the nail, Ellison believes that cloud technologies dOracle have 20 years advance on those dAmazon. For tayer their words, Ellison explains quAurora and Redshift lack certain features critics such as partitioning of tables, views, matrialises, the support for the types of deals rich, the particular requests SQL in parallle, the capacity of rpliquer the basics of give figures, the optimization of particular requests sophistical, etc

It should be noted that the dtail of the material used, and the conditions in which these tests have t effectus na pas t communiqu by Ellison.

And you ?

What do you think of these claims ?

do you Think that the assertions dEllison are vridiques ? Or do you believe what are without foundations ?

Health 2.0 : new technologies and the GAFA at the bedside of the … – Generation NT

In 2013, Google lifted the veil on Calico, a company specialized in the field of health with the ultimate aim of extending the shelf life of mankind by finding cures for diseases such as cancer or Aids.

More recently, the u.s. group mentioned the “BaselineStudy”, a project recorded in his laboratory Google X focused on the genetic, and then we discovered the contact lens dedicated to people with diabetes.

This time, he’s the boss of Facebook that launches in the sector and announces that it has dedicated $ 3 billion in research to fight the diseases that are the most deaths around the world. The action fits in the framework of the activities of the organization Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, the fund should be released over a period of ten years.

The funds will be allocated to research groups for the development of new technologies, but also to support the search for vaccines and cures for various ailments present everywhere in the world. Both objectives are in view : the eradication of certain diseases and the development of a treatment for improving the accompaniment of patients.

These giants of the Net are increasingly investing in medical research, with a direction sometimes purely medical, or sometimes technological. In spite of all, the results of these efforts will not be known until the medium term.

today, there are already technological solutions that allow patients to live better their handicap or better manage their disease. One of the diseases that benefits a particular interest on the part both of the medical corps of engineers is diabetes.

Zuck santé

in Addition to the pancreas, artificial, the marketing of which should not take place before several years, there are already insulin pumps have been developed and marketed to patients. It may well include FreeStyle Libre which claims itself as the first Flash of self-monitoring of glucose.

The device presents itself as a blood glucose meter that continuously measures the glucose level of the user thanks to a sensor placed on the back of the arm. The system thus avoids pitting and the tests carried out at fixed times or as a function of the activity of the diabetic. The simple fact of placing the drive on the sensor is used to collect wireless data and obtain its rates of blood glucose.

Freestyle Libre

The sensor is not bigger than a two-euro coin and it can hold it in place for 14 days before being replaced. The transferred data are used to obtain a curve of the rate of glucose on the last hours (up to 8h) and thus enable awareness of hypos at night.

These devices take advantage of the advances in the field of miniaturization, new sensors and technologies of wireless data transfer. They already allow thousands of people with diabetes better manage their disease and live almost normally. Tomorrow, similar devices could see the light of day for the automatic delivery of insulin, painkillers, antibiotics, or other anticoagulants, this will be a first step towards the birth of the human increased.

IoT, VR…For the employees, happiness at work is in the … – Frenchweb.fr

Be a collabrateur proactive, yes, but the work environment should be just as “smart”. To make the environment smart work, employees feed many expectations of new technologies, according to the study, “The Future Workforce Study 2016” co-sponsored by Dell/Intel and conducted with 4 000 employees.

all In all, the employees in the world are tired of their positions of traditional work. They are seeking environments “more mobile, more productive, and more capable than before. However, this is not yet the case,” notes the authors. If the employees are aware of the ultra world connected in which they operate, their frustration is all the greater as they do not see their place of work evolve at the same speed.

38% of employees who work in France believe that the technology available to them at work is not smart enough (compared with 44% on average internationally).

Soon, the communication in face-to-face will be considered ineffective. 59% of French employees surveyed rely on remote collaboration, including through telework, and new technologies of communication.

dell-intel-happiness-and-tech

within five years, the employees think that they will use technologies of augmented reality or virtual reality. The connected objects are also expected to change the methods of work.

impatience is also strong around the intelligence artficielle. 69% of French people think that the AI may facilitate the task. 48% see it as a productivity gain.

While they are increasingly using the platform of the economy of sharing in their daily lives (car-sharing, housing, services…), more than two-thirds indicate that they want to take part in the economy of sharing in 2017. This is proportion is even bigger in the Y generation (83%).

And it is better to meet these desires. An asset on two of the generation Y says it is ready to leave his post if he believes that the technology that provides them his or her employer is not complying with its expectations.

employers who do not know how to keep up to date of new developments at risk of being left behind by more agile (…) employers are hesitant and doubtful must understand that this is a tremendous opportunity to position their company in the first line of a work environment of the future to meet their teams and accompany their evolution ,” predicts the study.

SEE: The study, “Future Workforce Study” (Dell/Intel)

Methodology: The study 2016 was conducted by the research institute of Penn Schoen Berland, on behalf of Dell and Intel. He has led 3 801 online interview in companies of all sizes, from different countries, between April and may 2016. The distribution of the samples is performed in the same way, with 400 or 300 respondents per country (400 in France). 2 050 are men, and 1 751 are women. The majority (2 389) is over the age of 35 years. The institute has selected employees working more than 35 hours per week, in the sectors Education, government, financial services, health, construction, media and entertainment and retail.
